Closely related to Latvian, Lithuanian is known as a Baltic language and is often cited as the most conservative Indo-European language spoken today. This is because Lithuanian still has features of Proto-Indo-European that many other Indo-European languages have now lost. Lithuanian translation is also useful for communicating with small populations in Belarus, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The Lithuanian language consists of two major dialects, spoken in different areas of Lithuania. The Lithuanian language comprises of 32 letters and uses the Latin alphabet.
